Making great fabrics has always been in the nature of Albini. For this reason, the TENCEL MICRO® fibre has become a natural choice. Of plant origin, this fibre is extracted from the cellulose from the forests of eucalyptus trees in South Africa, whose cultivation is managed in a sustainable way.
From nature, a feeling of fluidity and breathability.
TENCEL MICRO® fibres are created through a particularly environmentally friendly industrial process that provides complete reuse of the solvents employed, thus avoiding their dispersion in the environment and saving energy.
Thanks to the natural structure of the TENCEL MICRO® fibre, smooth and voluminous, the fabrics are particularly silky and soft on the skin, giving a feeling of comfort and naturalness. The lack of hairiness and the fluid hand of the fabric give the garment a refined appearance.
TENCEL MICRO® fiber can absorb excess moisture quickly and in a completely natural way and transport it away from the garment, ensuring an optimal climate on the skin and giving comfort and freshness to those who wear it, in all seasons.
Perfect moisture management allows the reduction of bacterial proliferation without the addition of any chemical additives. The resultant garments are also easy to maintain: the fibre, strong and durable, has a naturally soft and smooth texture that reduces considerably the formation of creases and makes the fabric easier to iron.
For its fabrics, Albini Group only selects TENCEL MICRO® fibers, the TENCEL MICRO® microfiber with a fineness of 0.9 dtex, compared to the ordinary 1.3 dtex. Spun in Italy in the Albini Group’s establishments, these fibers make it possible to obtain the finest yarns, up to 100/1, with which sophisticated and high quality fabrics are created.
Pure or blended with cotton, TENCEL® gives the fabrics a silky touch, while keeping them resistant and breathable.
