The strong points

One of the most obvious qualifying aspects of linen is, first of all, its freshness, which allows the skin to perspire at a much higher level.
Linen protects against electromagnetic pollution, filtering 95% of UVA. In addition it is hygroscopic, absorbing 12.5% of moisture, and bactericide thanks to the properties of the pectin the fibre is made of.

Linen is a safe raw material, it does not initiate flaming and does not conduct electricity. Its resistance to wear and abrasion are well known, being 30% stronger than cotton.

Linen is ecological. In fact, the plants need minimal quantities of chemical fertiliser and very little water compared to other cultivations. Its presence enriches the composition of the soil and it leaves no waste which would have to be disposed of.
Lastly, other undeniable qualities are its receptivity to dyeing (excellent absorption of dyes) and finishing treatments not to mention its anallergic, antistatic and antistress effects.
