ALBINI GROUP & BESTE: A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

ALBINI GROUP AND BESTE: A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE  BETWEEN TWO OUTSTANDING NAMES IN ITALIAN TEXTILES

Two leaders in the textile sector, Albini Group and Beste, have forged a strategic alliance aimed at undertaking synergistic and innovative full-spectrum initiatives, owing to a virtuous exchange of know-how and the common development of new products and projects.

This collaboration aims to promote a broader and more virtuous outlook for consolidating and enhancing the value of Made in Italy products, with the concrete objective of increasing the efficiency and quality of production processes and strengthening competitiveness on international markets.

Albini Group is Europe’s largest manufacturer of shirting fabrics, specializing in the development of high-end natural fiber fabrics. Founded in 1876 in Albino (Bergamo), it has always been a family-run business, and has now reached its 145th year of business. Albini Group today has seven plants and boasts a fully integrated production chain, from raw materials to fabrics.

Beste was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Giovanni Santi, a young entrepreneur from Prato with solid knowledge in the textile sector. The company came into being with the aim of specializing in cotton production and is today a leader in the development and ennobling of fabrics for the garment industry, marked by attentive research in materials and finishing.

The partnership between these two important companies calls for a strong operational interconnection, the exchange of products and know-how and the search for new innovative and high-performance solutions.

“We are proud to be collaborating with Beste, a solid and innovative Italian textile company and benchmark in the Prato district which, like us, is constantly searching for new technologies and continuously invests in strategies to renew itself. In an extremely competitive sector such as ours and at such a difficult and delicate time as the present, it is essential to team up to ensure a true relaunching of the textile industry. We are convinced that this alliance will be successful and can be an example for other outstanding companies in the production chain,” declared Fabio Tamburini, Albini CEO.

“Our partnership with Albini Group is complementary, one that will allow us to enhance the value of our products in a reciprocal and winning way. With these concrete synergies we can reach the market even stronger, ensuring the highest quality and excellent services that have always distinguished our Made in Italy products” concludes Giovanni Santi, President & CEO of Beste.
