On Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June Albini Group hosted the class of the Summer Abroad Program of the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York, in Italy for a study tour of the main textile companies of our country.
The fashion design, textile design and fashion management students had the opportunity to visit all the production departments and to see first-hand how a fabric is created, from the fibres to the quality control of the end product. Also, they appreciate the process of creating a collection by talking to the designers and brand managers of the Group’s four brands.
As there was a great deal of interest in the topic of sustainable fashion, the tour ended at the ALBINI_next headquarters at Kilometro Rosso, where the students discovered the Albini Group’s innovative approach to find tangible solutions for the environmental sustainability of textiles.

The visit of the Fashion Institute of Technology is part of the network of collaborations with schools that Albini Group has decided to promote, making its knowledge and experience available to the new generations and supporting them in their education.
