It is located in Albino (Bergamo - Italy) in Valle Seriana. Here the yarn is dyed, warped and woven, with all the related phases, into the most complex items, meeting ever shorter lead times. Recently, new and significant investments have led to a radical renewal of both structures and machinery, complying with the highest quality standards.
In the company, a specific department is dedicated to the exclusive manufacture of samples: a real company product research engine. With its cutting edge machinery this facility is the only one on the shirt making scene.
The industrial facility of Mottola (Taranto - Italy), dedicated to warping and weaving, extends over an area of 30,892 m2. It employs people selected from the area and trained at Albino with the same high quality standards, production and quick response as the other Group factories.
The Brebbia (Varese - Italy) finishing facility, represents an important step forward in the verticalisation process to improve its innovation, quality and service capabilities.
At present, the dyeing and finishing of more than one million metres of fabric a month are handled here in Brebbia.
The facility located in Lethorad (Czech Republic), with a long textile tradition behind it, is equipped for the production of yarn dyed fabrics for shirt making.
In 2008 Albini Group implemented its own modern and functional Logistics Centre to rationalise the warehouses and transports of a Group that has grown rapidly in the last fifteen years and to offer Customers an even better service. By choosing Gandino (Bergamo - Italy) as the location, near the historical Albino headquarters, the company's link with its land of origin became even more solid, investing huge sums in the area and generating new jobs.
This improved the service offered to Customers and improved the quality control of the products. The area on which the Logistics Centre stands covers 14 thousand square metres of which about 11,500 floor space divided on two levels, a basement of 7,400 and a ground floor of 4,100.
Here at Gandino the raw yarns, raw fabrics and finished fabrics are stocked with an additional large area used for the finished fabrics inspection and analysis laboratories.
All the fabrics are identifiable in real time with the Rfid system (radio frequency identification): the whereabouts of a piece is always traceable which means we can be reactive in the shipping phase. Thanks to the creation of the Logistics Centre, today the Albini Group can guarantee constant high quality standards, the strong point of company culture.
The best cottons in the world are cultivated in Egypt, like Giza45 and Giza87. This explains why the Albini Group is in the land of the Pharaohs where, in 2009, a weaving mill was set up in the industrial district of Borg El Arab, near the City of Alexandria in Egypt, in the Nile delta.
In 2010 in Egypt Albini Group made an important step for its verticalisation process: the opening of Delta Dyeing, next to Mediterranean Textile.
The centrality of the raw materials is confirmed again in 2012 with the start of direct production of yarns of the highest quality inside the production plant of NK Textile located in Ceto (Brescia - Italy).
Here Albini Group, in partnership with Niggeler & Kupfer Group, will combine to produce an intense research and development of raw materials and yarns for even more innovative fabrics. This will complete the vertical integration of Albini Group that, together with the finishing of properties in Brebbia (Varese - Italy), can really supply fabrics 100% Made in Italy.
