Launched in 2008, the Supima Design Competition was created to introduce the next generation of fashion designers to the industry It has evolved over time into a prestigious international showcase, emphasizing creativity and Supima cotton.

Emerging designers, selected from top design schools, were given the opportunity to create a capsule collection of women’s clothing using Supima cotton fabrics.

Once again this year, the Albini Group proudly confirmed its presence and support for the young talents involved by supplying high-quality fabrics made from 100% Supima cotton. Additionally, garments made with our fabrics graced the runways during New York Fashion Week and were later exhibited at the Supima Design Lab at the American Embassy in Paris.

Among the displayed pieces was one by Carla Pierini, the winner of the 2023 Supima Design Competition, created with Albini fabrics.
